+ 15 Reasons I'm Awesome! +

Mama Kat's Writing Workshop for this week. I haven't done one in FOREVER! 15 Reasons you're awesome!

1. I am amazing with words. Knowing my aspirations of being an English Instructor and my love of literature I have worked hard to hone my skills with my diction. I can make people feel amazing based on how I am with my words.

2. I am a master at knowing my literature, especially classic lit. This means that I give great book recommendations to people searching for a new world to love. I also quote literature randomly for no reason at all.

3. I have a built-in Actor/Actress guide of vast knowledge in my head I can pull up at random. This means that when you want to know what that movie is that's about a girl having lived in New York City being pulled into an otherworldly adventure when hitting a dog with her bike and a male foodie that is actually a wolf I will tell you that - Actually, that's a mini-series from 2004 called the 10th Kingdom starring Kimberly Williams-Paisly and Scott Cohen and seriously it's like the greatest thing ever.

4. I have tons of useless trivia in my head. For example, did you know the largest volcano in our Galaxy is named Olympus Mons (Mount Olympus) and is located on Mars? No? Well... now you do.

5. I love meeting new people. Seriously. I like to chat up strangers. I will also yell back in public places. If you hear a group of people yelling... and then a random woman responding in an equal calling tone... It's probably me.

6. I get along with just about anyone. In the very rare event that I don't get along with you, you'll never know it because I won't talk behind your back or be a jerk to you. I will also let you rant to me without ever letting anything you said slip out of my mouth.

7. I'm pretty fabulous at kissing - so I'm told by everyone I've kissed. That's probably a good quality to have. Maybe? I'm still not entirely convinced... but I'll take the compliments I get.

8. I am witty. I'm not just saying that because it's me. I'm saying it because I can be pretty freakin' hilarious. For example, Ajax was being ridiculous last night and wouldn't go away. Which eventually led to him having to stay bothering me because zombies.

Ajax: What about the zombies?
Me: I'll...make out with them.
Ajax: You must be tired.

Yeah. In a zombie apocalypse apparently I'm going to make out with the zombies and cure them. Bet you didn't know I was that much of a bang-up kisser. I kid...sort of.

9. I am reliable. Seriously, you can call me at 4am and if your call wakes me up. I'll answer it. If you are drunk and need to get home no matter the time - I'm there. You make plans with me? I won't be the one to cancel them.

10. I'm a good worker. At my college job everyone would be fighting to go home first. I'd be the one staying there, even though my station was the first one totally cleaned, scrubbing everything from top to bottom until 2am to keep boss-man from staying until 6am to finish the work by himself.

11. I am a goofball. I am random and crazy. Probably a nerd, too. There's rarely a rhyme or reason to my antics, but it usually works out because it makes the people I'm around happy and amused.

12. I genuinely care about anyone that enters my life. I want them all to be happy, safe, and secure in their lives. I get connected to people and I don't want to lose contact.

13. I'm firm in who and what I am. I've known the kind of person I am and want to be and have done my damnedest to stay that way despite growing and changing. I know what I want from my life and strive to achieve it.

14. I'm determined and rarely give up. I'm interpreting this lately as I just freaking love rejection! Honestly, 100+ job applications with two responses? That is some serious rejection, yet I am still right there trekking on to find the perfect job for me.

15. I am honest. I don't like liars. I'd rather be honest and true to myself than a liar.
