It's weird how you spend years thinking you know someone. Like you have a grasp on who that person is and what they mean to you. You got this friendship down- you're covered. No question marks remain.

You care about this person as a friend, just a friend.

Then something stupid happens and your defenses are down because you're human. And in those moments you admit to yourself, "So, okay. We have chemistry. You knew this already, right? It's not like that was the first time he kissed you- just the first time you fully yielded to him and weren't a tease". Except it is more than just chemistry. Maybe feelings were there the whole time and you were totally lying to yourself. Awesome. Admittedly you were always afraid to fall for him because he never seemed serious. And he just has to be the kind of man you always wanted. Listens entirely too well. Makes you feel safe. Makes you happy without trying. Intelligent. Amusing. Teases just the right amount. Flirts with you out of the blue. Ambitious in that he has set goals for his life. Sweet. Caring. Handsome. Makes you feel cared for with just one embrace. The kind of guy you love kissing. Can make you smile effortlessly. Warm. Insomniac, like you can be. Talks for hours with you about anything. Serenades. Silly. Knows just how to win you over. Can make you melt. Protective of you.

Face it, Zelda, he's the kind of male you've been searching for often in the last six years. You were just too blind to see he was right in front of you until you were gone.
