I'm seeing a bunch of people jumping all over each other online because of the Supreme Court decision today. What is misunderstood is that no one is saying Health Care is bad and some people shouldn't get it.
What is being said is that this is not the way to go about it. What is going to be happening is states have a choice to opt in or out of this bill. Guess what? Something like 26 states don't want it and have made that abundantly clear.
What that means for people in say my state is take someone who works for a national corporation. Said corporation says it's cheaper to end health care and make our employees pay for their own healthcare. They pay the cheaper penalty. Now you who are the employee that was paying for your healthcare via job, well it just got cancelled. Your state chose to opt out. You now have no insurance and aren't able to use the public health care. Now you maybe get to pay for private without company help. If you get accepted then you get to pay about quadruple your previous price. Yaaay! BEST IDEA EVER!
Maybe that bill should have been looked over more carefully so big corporations don't have the opportunity and ability to completely slap their employees in the face. Just saying.
