+ I've Decided to Make Some Changes +

I have decided that all these years I've been ridiculous and honestly I need to get healthier. Everyone can always work to be a little more healthy, and for me, the time to start is now.

And I know I'm no where near a point that I should be bragging. I'm only on day 6 of really trying to change. So far, however, I've really stuck with it. I haven't missed a workout yet, even though yesterday I spent the day with Viola and I didn't get home until late (for me). It would have been so easy to put it off until today and fallen asleep immediately last night, but I didn't let my body talk me into sleep. It's time that I adapt these changes for real and make an actual difference in my life. I need to be stronger, healthier, leaner in order to have better endurance to do the things I want to do and love doing. And to feel comfortable in my own skin.

I figure if I talk about it a little bit I'm more likely to keep up on it and not let myself fall back into my old ways. I'm cutting out a lot of bread, rices, and pastas. Which for me, in case you didn't know, are basically my favorite foods ever. I even opted out of my favorite dinner choice - cheeseburgers - and instead cut up the hamburger and put it into a salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. In fact, the only bread I've had recently were on chicken pitas.

I figure cutting out a lot of bread and replacing them with more fruits and veggies, which also happen to be some of my favorite foods ever, it can only help the figure... right!?

I've also been good about not snacking or eating after 7pm. Which previously I sometimes ate dinner late because I would forget and it'd be like 8/9pm and I'd be all, "Shoot! I'm hungry".

Did I mention I'm doing a few workouts a day and also dragging my dog's furry behind out with me again because it's that time of year!! Glorious walks/jogs! It would just be jobs, but the old man's joints aren't as good as they were when he was a puppy. Bummer.

So, I'm just putting it out into the universe. I'm trying to be healthier, and I'm going to be fit as soon as I can!
